Switzerland of Pakistan — where turquoise lakes, lush pine forests and snow-capped Himalayan peaks come together in one breathtaking valley in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Naran Kaghan Valley, in Mansehra District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, is one of Pakistan's most visited natural destinations. The valley runs along the crystal-clear Kunhar River, flanked by dense pine forests and towering Himalayan peaks on all sides.
At its heart lies the world-famous Saif ul Malook Lake at 3,224 metres — a mirror-like turquoise alpine gem reflecting the mighty Malika Parbat (5,290m). Beyond it, Babusar Pass at 4,173m connects this valley to the Karakoram Highway, offering some of Asia's most dramatic high-altitude scenery.
Crystal-clear glacial river flowing through the valley — perfect for trout fishing and river rafting
The "Queen of Mountains" at 5,290m — the highest peak in Kaghan, visible from Saif ul Malook Lake
Wildflower meadows at 3,294m surrounded by dense deodar pine forests — KPK's finest alpine landscape
